Challenge: L.L. Bean struggled to expand into the retail channel after dominating in catalog sales for nearly 100 years. With 3 stores outside New England, sales and traffic were struggling to meet goals and annual targets.
Approach: Introduced a completely revamped, comprehensive marketing plan, leveraging catalog deployments and a variety of multi-media marketing efforts focused on key best-selling seasonal products. Synched up in-store display, promotions and bounce- back tactics to support objectives.
Results: L.L. Bean Retail exceed all revenue targets within first year of plan execution.
